Support for Windows 10 has ended on October 14, 2025

After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

These are the basic requirements for installing Windows 10 on a PC.

  • Latest OS: Make sure you're running the latest version—either Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update.

  • Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC

  • RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit

  • Hard disk space: 32 GB or larger hard disk (required for newer versions of Windows 10)

  • Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver

  • Display: 800 x 600
